Cancellation Policy, Terms and Conditions


By booking with 'The Dog Paddock', you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to support the safety and welfare of everyone involved — humans and dogs alike.  

Booking and Payment online secures time in 'The Dog Paddock'
Sessions may be rescheduled online up to 48 hours before your session.   Rescheduling can be completed through your confirmation email, or from your reminder email. Reminder emails are sent out 72 hours before appointments to allow for rescheduling if needed. We do not offer refunds unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case please email the details to thenewdogpaddock@gmail.com

If you arrive late your booking cannot be extended and no refunds will be given. Parking is at your own risk. The Dogs Paddock accept no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred whist using the site.

No more than 5 dogs are permitted per adult at any one time (aged 18+) We recommend that all dogs visiting are up to date with vaccinations or have a relevant Titre Test, and are up to date with flea and worm treatments, or wormcount testing also. Dogs must always wear a collar or harness and ID tag. Choke chains, prong collars, and other such devices are not permitted Verbal and physical abuse: Verbal or physical abuse towards dogs or other customers will not be tolerated.

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your booking. Many of our customers have nervous or reactive dogs and vehicles arriving may upset or disturb their session Once the previous customer has exited the secure car park, field or all-weather arena, please drive in and close the gate behind you before letting your dog(s) out of your vehicle.

Please allow enough time at the end of your session (approximately 5-10 minutes depending on how many dogs you have) for you to get your dog(s) into your vehicle and exit the car park, so that the next customer can enter on time. 

PLEASE NOTE if the customer in the field before you is late exiting and this impacts on your session please email the details to thenewdogpaddock@gmail.com and we will investigate. Please DO NOT extend your session to make up for any lost time as this will affect other customers for the rest of the day 

Please do not enter the field if the previous customer is still in there Your dog(s) must remain in your vehicle until the previous customer's vehicle has exited the secure car-park.

You are responsible for your dog(s) whilst you are using the paddock.
Please do not leave your dog(s) unattended whilst they are in the field
Please be mindful of our neighbours and do not shout or allow your dogs to bark excessively
Please do not allow your dogs to dig holes (unless they are in the sandpit!) or damage our equipment. PLEASE NOTE if damage does occur please kindly email the details to thenewdogpaddock@gmail.com so that our maintenance team can attend to it.
Please watch your dogs and pick up after them using poo bags bags, and then dispose of the bags in the specialist bins provided
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear at all times especially during periods of wet weather when the ground may be muddy and slippery
Please do not smoke or bring human or dog food into the field other than small treats for training purposes and
Please do not leave any human food or treats in the paddock, as some of the dogs that use the paddock may be intolerant of certain foods which can make them very ill.
Please do not leave cigarette ends, broken toys, dog fur or any other kind of litter in the field

We cannot accept responsibility for any incidents / accidents incurred whilst using the paddock or the equipment, so please think carefully about your dogs fitness and physical limitations before encouraging them to climb etc.  The ground has lumps and bumps as a naturally occurring feature, so please bring sensible footwear.

BSL Affected Dogs 

If your dog breed is subject to restrictions under BSL (this includes Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasiliero, XL Bully), they are welcome to visit the dog paddock -  subject to the following requirements:  
You must let us know and upload your Public Liability Insurance Certificate when you make your booking
You must also provide your Certificate of Exemption when you make your booking
Your dog must be neutered in line with government rules
Your dog must be micro chipped
The paddock must be locked using the padlock provided so your dog cannot escape
Your dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled until you have entered our secure field, closed the gate and secured the padlock - you can then remove the lead and the muzzle. If you have more than 1 dog (with only 1 banned breed in your household), they can come to the field together, as long as they have a minimum of 1 handler.
All dogs leads and muzzles can be removed once in the field, including the banned breed dog
If you have more than 1 banned breed dog in your household they can come together but each banned breed dog must have its own handler (aged over 16)

All reasonable care is taken to ensure a safe environment. The Dog Paddock cannot be held liable for injury, illness, or damage caused by or to dogs, handlers, or third parties outside of our reasonable control.  
You are responsible for your own and the safety of your dog(s) The paddock is surrounded by 6ft fencing. While steps have been taken to make this secure, we cannot guarantee that it is escape proof. The Dogs Paddocks is not responsible for escapees
